Jimi Hendrix: Gear
As stated in the Biography, Jimi Hendrix mainly used righty Fender Stratocasters that were turned upside down and strung lefty. Jimi also used Gibson Flying V's (like the one in the banner above) in his later career. Jimi played out of Marshall stacks and used a Vox wah-wah pedal, a Fuzz Face distortion pedal and a Flanger pedal, something popularized again in the early 1980s by Edward Van Halen.
